Our house.... in the middle of our street

Well we've now been here in our new house "almost" a couple of months now and MIL has now been here for a whole month too .. Here's the picture of our house from the middle of our street! I took this photo just this week...

This next one was taken the first day that we got our keys... Here is Guy standing out the front :)

Then we have me opening up the door that same day ... with Guy taking pictures....
 Welcome... come in everyone!!! :D
Here are a few inside shots.... Our bedroom... Just look at those LOVELY curtains there that my Mother made for me.. isn't she wonderful! Mum and Dad brought them over and helped to hang them in the beginning of July! :D

 Looking into MILs room....

The study and office pics are missing.. and they are a bit of a mess.. so those two room will not be shown today -  lol!!! Instead we move into the Lounge room...

LOVING these couches THANKS Mum and Dad.. they are sooo comfy!!! :)

the lounge goes through to what I think is the best room in the house.. a huge kitchen and living space... that looks out to the backyard and a lovely little park behind!

Here's a sort of look at the kitchen.. not the best pic at all though!!!

This next picture is from the back garden looking back at the house!

AFTER years of hanging washing to dry in our garage and apartments... I was so excited to finally have a garden and a washing line!! So the washing line MUST feature here! bahahah!

and then a few shots of the garden.. .which is one big WIP lol!
Here we have "started" weeding the garden beds!
LOVE that we have a lemon tree.. it needs a bit of TLC  though
and here is my first attempt at Rose pruning... looks a little nasty now but hopefully will pay off for next year and pretty FLOWERS!! These rose bushes were huge... and I felt terrible cutting them right back but I hear that's what you "should" do .. so we'll see!!

So there you have it.. want to see some more?? Come visit us! LOL!

Pixies Birthday!

Good morning!! Toady I am sharing with you another card I made yesterday! I was on a roll...and then at Copic club I managed to get 2 images coloured! yay!!This morning I am about to create cards with those... when unpacking all my craft stuff after the move I realised I had a LOT of embellishments that I never use.. so I am attempting now to make cards using them all up.. and yes all the scraps of card and paper I brought with me too!

As for this card.. I have used this adorable little Birthday Pixie by Kathy from Pixie Dust Studio... This was for Kathy's Birthday a couple of weeks ago.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY for then lovely lady!!
I miss working with these beautiful images every week! lol! you might see a few more popping up here every so often (hopefully!)

I used some adhesive pearls from Flourish with a Bling and coloured them with my E77 marker for the little bits on the cupcake.. doesn't it look scrummy!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Off to craft now whist my nephew works for me doing web stocktakes and MYOB data stuff and DH looks after MIL :)

Some cards in the sun!

Good afternoon!! WOW... I am struggling with my blogging at the moment.. well to tell the truth I am struggling with my colouring and crafting and all that jazz ... so I'm pleased as punch to be able to blog today with some cards I've made over the last couple of days... and It's such a beautiful day (especially after the dreariness of the rest of this week) so I took the pics on our balcony!! LOVE it!! Mmmm ... I realise I still need to blog some piccies of our new house.. so will do that SOON!!

The first card is made with my most favourite La-La Land stamp - Mod Marci .. I have her available in my online store :) !! I've coloured her in my favourite purple Copics, the V20s ... as for her guitar I tried to "copy" the way Irina coloured it at the Project class she ran for us in Sydney.. and I  must confess I still love hers more tee hee!!

My second card is using this Gorgeous pixie from Sweet November - I was lucky enough to receive the beautiful Rubber version earlier this year when I guest designed for the lovely AMY and whist yearning for Spring this week I thought I'd colour her up :) I revamped an old card for this one... I am going to do this with some of the old cards I have lying around that I never used and have improved my colouring skills since making them.. so  maybe I'll even show you some before and after shots soon!!

Thanks for stopping by .. time to go spend some time with my MIL!!

(hugs)
